EINE ART ZUKUNFT
Das Programm der MUSIKTHEATERTAGE WIEN steht für die Neugier nach Möglichkeiten, Ausdrucksformen und der Erzählung von Gegenwartsthemen.
Aktuelle, politisch und sozial relevante Themen sollen mit Emotionen und Unterhaltungswert reflektiert werden. Kompositorische Musiksprachen aus den Strömungen des 20. Jahrhunderts sollen weiter präsent sein, aber auch undogmatisch Raum für Neuentwicklungen schaffen.
Eigenproduktionen des Festivals, internationale Koproduktionen und Gastspiele werden ergänzt durch kunstvermittelnde Angebote, Workshops und ein „Producers Meeting“.
Das Team der MUSIKTHEATERTAGE WIEN freut sich auf die Herausforderung, dem hohen Anspruch an Musik und darstellender Kunst in Wien professionell und durch Offenheit und Präsenz gegenüber dem Publikum gerecht zu werden und neuen Kreationen zu internationaler Sichtbarkeit zu verhelfen.
