Hannah und ihre Schwestern

Im Mittelpunkt von Woody Allens Filmen steht zumeist eine Variation der Figur des Großstadtneurotikers: Latente Ängste und manifeste Minderwertigkeitsgefühle treffen auf die alltägliche Qual der Wahl in der unüberschaubaren Reizüberflutung des Spätkapitalismus. Zurück bleibt nicht etwa das von der Werbung versprochene Glück – sondern ein zutiefst verunsichertes Individuum, das überall dort Halt sucht, wo es mit Sicherheit keinen finden wird – und das darum ein interessantes Studienobjekt etwa für Sigmund Freud gewesen wäre. Die komisch-gehetzten Figuren Woody Allens in der Stadt Freuds auf die Bühne zu bringen, das war ein Gedanke, der Milan Peschel an einer Bearbeitung von Woody Allens „Hannah und ihre Schwestern“ aus dem Jahr 1986 besonders reizvoll erschien.
